DTS's contribution on all projects will evolve into a relationship where we contribute as a true extension to your internal team - more like your virtual external team. In fact, this is much more than a vision. It is reality for customers that we have served for years.

But relationships aren't formed overnight. That is why Dhruv TS earns our way onto your team-starting with that first project. We begin by placing one of our team members on-site with your staff. Depending on the scope of the project, the on-site member may be there two weeks or four months-whatever it takes to learn your technology, product roadmap, and design procedures. Even more importantly, this time provides an opportunity for us to develop an integral relationship with your staff.

Once the details of the project have been defined, Dhruv TS recommends the portions of the project that can be completed by engineers in our Bangalore, India facilities versus onsite and domestic offsite facilities. Project costs can be significantly reduced as greater amounts of work are completed offshore. Depending on how well a project is defined and bounded, you may chose to enter a fixed price or time & material agreement for the extent of the project.

As a project progresses, site visits will be conducted for ongoing design reviews. The length and complexity of the project will dictate the number and length of these meetings. Throughout all projects, Dhruv TS maintains formal communications between your staff, our engineers and project managers so that you are constantly attuned to the status of your projects.

Projects are concluded onsite with an in depth final design review and testing, customer acceptance and transference of knowledge. However, Dhruv's involvement need not stop there. As we have moved through your entire product life cycle, we have acquired intellectual capital on your product and technologies. So, it makes perfect sense to utilize our engineering skills for the ongoing maintenance of your product.

Dedicated Resources

Once the resource demands reach a level that is relatively significant and predictable, it may make sense for Dhruv TS to establish a dedicated development facility (DDF) specific to your organization. A DDF provides all of the benefits of an experienced, capable engineering team without some of the common constraints. We maintain a team that is committed to your projects. This team retains intellectual capital on your technologies and products. Over time, our value to your organization increases as we become more intimate with your products and markets. In fact, many of our customers have benefited from product enhancement suggestions and patents that have been submitted and approved by our engineers for our customers.

Changes in macro economic conditions, project commitments, and budgets make it challenging to continuously align engineering resource levels with project demands. A virtual engineering team enables you to build flexibility into your resource capacity. Lower cost per engineer plus the ability to shift engineers to and from other projects, when necessary, allows your Dhruv DDF to quickly respond to your resource requirements.

Fixed Price Project

When your need is very well specified and the project clearly defined, Dhruv offers this low-risk software delivery model. It is ideal for projects requiring external expertise and resources to develop a specific product or application. Dhruv manages the entire project and ensures quality delivery within the promised costs and schedules.

Dhruv deploys the appropriate expertise required to understand your requirements and the skilled resources to architect, design and develop a custom solution. Once the product or application is developed, our experts will install it on-site and train your people. Optionally, we also offer ongoing support and maintenance services

Time and material

Customers often find it difficult to define their requirements, particularly in emerging technology markets where specifications and implementation plans change frequently. In such cases, we offer our skilled resources on a time and material basis.

We form a team to execute the project while you retain the flexibility to adjust project resources based upon your evolving requirements. We also offer you the flexibility to switch to the Fixed Price Project model once the scope of your project becomes better understood. Our project team can either be located in our facilities or on-site at your office.

Dedicated development facility

Dhruv TS has designed this software delivery model to reserve resources exclusively for designated customers who wish to partner with us in a significant manner for product development on a long-term basis. We provide a dedicated, long-term development team in our facility managed by Dhruv TS as an extension of your own engineering organization, offering you the benefits of higher productivity and knowledge retention.

Your DDF will have highly talented engineers and managers with the appropriate skills, and a world-class infrastructure with appropriate communication links to your engineering organization. Your intellectual property rights (IPRs) will be rigorously protected by isolation of networks, facilities, equipment, and binding non-disclosure agreements. We follow your roadmap and utilize technology, tools, and processes specified by you.
